Garden of the Mountain Spirit

Located next to the House of Carl and Gerhard Hauptmann, the park invites with trails with five thematical houses and the large diversity of Karkonosze vegetation inlcuding many conifers close to being recognized as natural monuments. Its attraction is the observation pergola where the panorama of Karkonosze can be admired.

Covering the area of 4,5 ha, the park was founded 100 years ago by the Hauptmann Family. Most of its vegetation were planted. Every wooden house - Wodnik Pożyteczny, Tajemna, Skrzat z mchu i paproci, Rzepicha Zielarka, and Pałacyk Dobrej Kondycji - has a unique architecture and equipment including water mill, balconies, tables, benches and fences. There is also an attractive playground in Pałacyk.
