Education Center of the Karkonosze National Park

The Center is an educational institution aimed at presenting the world of animate and inanimate nature on the Giant Mountains on both sides of the border. Most of the exhibitions are interactive, and during the tour you can learn about such forms as post-glacial boilers, peat bogs, forests, flora and fauna of the Karkonosze, the most characteristic natural phenomena, as well as human impact on nature.

The unique attractions include exhibitions include large-format panoramas and a tactile model of this mountain range. The Center also has a comfortable projection room, where you can watch nature films, and take part in an interesting lecture about the Giant Mountains. Presentations are held in several languages, and exhibitions are adapted to the needs of the disabled. There is a bookshop on site that offers books, maps and souvenirs related to the region. The facility also organizes temporary exhibitions.
