The museum presents mainly collections of rocks and fossils, but visitors can also look over a dinosaur egg or mammoth teeth. Moreover, the facility is concerned with ecological education, organizes lectures and temporary exhibitions on which amateur artists can present themselves.
The rocks, which are the main exhibits, have been divided into three groups: igneous rocks, metamorphic rocks, and sedimentary rocks. Especially noteworthy is sand, which comes from beaches and deserts around the world. Visitors can admire the sand brought from, among others, India, Portugal, the Canary Islands, the Caribbean or Hawaii. The fossils in the museum have been properly sorted as well, this time chronologically. Additionally, such exhibits as ammonites (Ammonoidea) or dinosaur remains from Krasiejów are presented in the facility.Less
