Szczawnica Promenade

Local name: Promenada w Szczawnicy

Along the Grajcarek mountain stream in Szczawnica runs a beautiful promenade, encouraging walks - long and even very long. Promenade in Szczawnica, measuring 1800 meters, is the longest such pedestrian street in Poland.

Visiting the spa town of Pieniny it is impossible not to come across a promenade leading from the lower station of the cable car to Palenica to the path leading to Slovakia along the Dunajec River. Although the promenade is located in a village in the mountains, it is almost flat in its entire length.

On the promenade in Szczawnica there are plenty of benches and many elements of small architecture. The pedestrian zone extends on both sides of the creek, and the crossing to the other side of the creek allows the bridges.
