Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of the World is one of the most impressive and oldest monuments in the city. Visitors can admire its wonderful structure and also explore the bright interior with the monumental equipment. The most worthy of attention parts are gorgeous polychromies, the Baroque main altar, and the pulpit from the 17th century.
The church's interior is extraordinarily bright what is caused by large windows and bright walls. It consists of polychromies of which the oldest one comes from the 15th century. Paintings can be admired in the sacristy, Three Kings Chapel, Piotr Gröning's Chapel, and Midelnitz Chapel. Apart from that, there is also the 17th-century wooden main altar topped by the crucifix. The monumental pulpit is decorated with figures of Evangelists, an angel, and plant themes.In the 13th century, a wooden or a granite ashlar church stood in the place of present building.
