House of the Memory of the Struggle and Martyrdom of Polish Foresters and Knitters

Local name: Dom Pamięci Walki i Męczeństwa Leśników i Drzewiarzy Polskich

"House of Remembrance" fighting with occupiers during the Second World War is a wooden forester hidden in the woods of Spała. Inside you can see the history of the building, see historic banners, urns and other souvenirs. In front of the building stands a statue representing the figure of a forester and two stone memorial plates with a cross.

The forest-guerrilla forest guerrilla exposition in Spała is divided into three chambers. The first was the armed conspiracy, the second was a chamber of remembrance and the third was a tribute. Museums include both objects and multimedia presentations. Interviews with witnesses of war events played on tablets.

This building was built in 1983, in the Zakopane style, on the initiative of the foresters of the Forest District. This symbol of the woods commemorates sacrifice while fighting with equally hostile foresters and scouts. In the surrounding nature park you can stroll along the planned nature trails and educational trails.
