Located in the Abbot House, Stanisław Dunajewski Ślęża Museum presents natural, historical, and archeological collections. They are divided into three exhibitions: Nature of Ślęża Massif, Old Beliefs, and the lapidarium with pieces of local architecture. There is also the Gallery of Ślęża Museum.

The museum was established in 1962 while the first exhibition took place in 1966. In 1992, Stanisław Dunajewski, a soldier of the Polish Armed Forces and the Home Army and founder of the museum, was chosen as its patron. The gallery was opened in 1995. The most prominent artists who presented their works here were Jerzy Duda-Gracz, Edward Lutczyn, Wiesław Ochman, Franciszek Maśluszczak, Stasys Eidrigevicius, and Tomasz Sętowski.

The facility is located in the 16th-century Abbot House, former Augustinian hospital. Heimatmuseum operated here since 1926. The museum is considered continuator of its tradition.
