The museum in Praszka is located in a tenement house, where a pharmacy was located until the beginning of the 20th century. Its complete equipment is one of the main exhibitions entitled "In an old pharmacy". In addition, there is also an extensive historical and archaeological section presenting monuments discovered during excavations at the Lusatian culture cemeteries around the village. The museum also presents ethnographic collections and minerals. In the garden you can see a narrow-gauge steam engine.
The creation of the museum is associated with the activities of Professor Konrad Jażdżewski. His collections and the handed-over tenement house were the basis for establishing the institution. In connection with the professor's scientific activity, a lot of space at the exhibitions is devoted to the archeology of Praszka and its surroundings. There are also old documents and items used in local households.
Due to the fact that the museum occupies the building of a former pharmacy, it was possible to restore its complete equipment from the beginning of the 20th century. A separate section is devoted to the geology and nature of this area. The Museum's pride is a narrow-gauge steam engine with a coal truck and wagon standing in the garden. Until 1987, he served the route of the Wieluń Commuter Rail on the route from Praszka to Wieluń
