Seaside Narrow Gauge Railway

Local name: Nadmorska Kolej Wąskotorowa

The railway is one of the most interesting tourist attractions in the Rewal Coast. Tourists can take advantage of the undoubted opportunity, which is a ride on a cable car along one of two routes, during which you can admire the picturesque surroundings and beautifully renovated railway stations. In addition, it is possible to rent the entire train. The railway also organizes numerous events, and has interesting educational offers for children and young people.

Narrow-gauge railway dates back to the 1890s, when it set out on its first tour. Its creation had a very positive impact on the development of these areas. Unfortunately, along with the increase in the popularity of road transport, the railway slowly fell into oblivion. In 2002 it was bought by the Rewal commune. Two years later, after Poland's accession to the European Union, renovation of the facility began. In addition to restoring routes, trains were also modernized. The cars have new colors, are heated and have modern toilets. In addition, three new railway stations were built.
