Długie Lake

Long Lake is located in the drainage basin of the Łyna-Pergoła. The name of this reservoir complies with its shape which has a lenght of 1,5km. The banks are connected in the middle part of the lake by the bridge called Lovers Bridge. The surrounding areas were adapted for an active leisure time.

The bike and walking trail with a length of 5,5km was opened in 2012. Piers, benches, and sunbeds were installed on the track for the inhabitants use, especially anglers. Fans of active leisure time can walk the green track of health, where can improve a figure in several spots. The bike trails and blue walking track connect the lake with City Forest and the rest of the city. The banks of the lake are a popular place for family picnics of inhabitants as well as tourists.

Nature Reserve Mszar is located to the east from the northern side of the lake. It's a small midforest mire which has been protected since 1907. Since December 1953 it's a strict mire nature reserve while the reservoir is one of the most unique examples of effective technical remediation in Poland.
