The observatory has been operating since 1979 within the walls of a former water tower. The object awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the category of historic buildings that changed its original purpose. At the top of the tower telescopes are installed to observe the sky. From the observation deck you can also admire the city panorama.
