The Museum of Wiśnicka is located in the former hospital building for the poor, founded in the 17th century by the Lubomirski family. His collections include works by artists associated with Nowy Wiśnicz and a collection of historical monuments, mainly from the Second World War. The most valuable monument in the collection is the cannon barrel from the castle in Nowy Wiśnicz signed by the Lubomirski coat of arms from the beginning of the 17th century. Art collections and paintings of the religious themes of Czeslaw Dźwigaja and the two paintings by Nikifor are the most important.

Historical collections of the Museum of the Land of the Wiśnicka Region mainly focus on the period of World War II. You can see military and prison uniforms, documents and photographs from this period. Earlier history of the city mainly depicts paintings and everyday objects. The cannon barrel from the Lubomirski Castle is one of four known in Poland. The others are displayed on the Wawel Castle. There is also a small exhibition devoted to the Jewish Jews.

Rich collections of works of artists connected with Nowy Wiśnicz. These are mostly paintings by Stanisław Klimowski. Sculpture and stained glass represent in turn a well-known creator of monuments and decorations of churches Czeslaw Dźwigaj.
