"Knieja" Museum of Nature and Hunting
Local name: Muzeum Przyrodniczo-Łowieckie "Knieja"
The unique attraction of the Bieszczady village of Nowosiółki is the private Nature and Hunting Museum "Knieja". Among the exhibits here are: Hunting trophies from Poland and abroad, such as carpathian deer and roe deer, reindeer, brown bear, Siberian musk, and smaller mammals and birds. Thanks to the exhibits presented here you can find out how the deer antlers develop. In addition to the natural collections, the museum has prepared an exhibition of photographs documenting the history of Nowosiółek and its surroundings. The facility offers guided and gastronomic services, and there is a café "Pod Żubrem".
Near the museum was laid out with information boards the nature trail "On the trail of the inhabitants of the Carpathian forest". Nearby is a fish pond and a unique treat for lovers of animals - a farm where you can see the pigs.
The facility has been in existence since 2002. Its founders and owners are Henryk and Jerzy Wałachowski.
