The museum organizes permanent exhibitions dedicated to fisheries and numerous temporary exhibitions, which include, among others, the history of beach fashion, types of sand and aquarium fish. In addition, the facility hosts various workshops, meetings, lectures and even theater performances.
The permanent exhibition was located in three small rooms inside the villa built in the 1930s and outside the building. Inside, visitors will find exhibits related to the profession of a fisherman, including a number of tools used in fishing, e.g. nets and hooks. The exhibitions were enriched with numerous documents, photographs and specimens of fish.
Outside there is an outdoor exhibition, which consists of fishing boats donated by the fishermen themselves. Among the most interesting and at the same time the most valuable exhibits that the museum possesses is an accidentally caught octant, i.e. a former navigation device, trawl - fishing net and dogfish, otherwise known as the Baltic shark.
