Museum of the Krajna Land
Local name: Muzeum Ziemi Krajeńskiej
The collection of the Krajeńska Museum is presented in a restored three-storey granary from the end of the 19th century and includes a permanent exhibition with archaeological, historical and ethnographic monuments on the Valley of the Note, as well as temporary exhibitions organized on two lower floors. In the neighboring granary garden was lapidarium.
Apart from the exhibitions, the Museum of Krajeńskie Region invites to lessons, art workshops and thematic shows. One of the most famous is the organization last Sunday the May has a seasonal outdoor event, the so-called. St. Lawrence.
Also worth mentioning is the granary itself, built in the region of the skeleton technique, also known as the Prussian wall. The building is covered with a sloping roof, and the windows have original shutters. The object is a result of a reconstruction carried out in 1990.
The Museum of the Land of the Krajeńskie belongs to the project of the Echo Valley Memoirs, which brings together a number of thematic farms, cultural centers and museums. Since 2004, the Ecomuseum of the Valley of Note is the organizer of the Culinary Heritage Competition "Smaki Krajny i Pałuk", which aims to present the culinary heritage of the LSR area "Link Us Noteć".
