Jawor observation tower

Local name: Wieża widokowa pod Jaworzem

Jaworz is one of the highest peaks in Łososina Mountain Range in the Island Beskids. Its top is overgrown with forest while meadows below it offer beautiful views. The observation tower can be found on the trail leading to Skrzętla-Rojówka, near the blue track. The panorama of the Island Beskids, Pogórze Różnowskiego and Pogórze Ciężkowickiego with Różnowski Lake, the Gorce Mountains, and during good weather even the Tatras, can be admired here.

The wooden observation tower was built here in 2012. It's located below the border of the forest, on fields. Its location is related to the protection of the forest on the top of Jaworz. "Fog sea", phenomenon characteristic for the inversion occurring here, during which mountaintops emerge from the fog, can be admired in mornings in Autumn.

The easiest way to the tower is blue track near Skrzętla-Rojówka, next to the chapel and small parking lot. The trip takes around 30 min.
