New Castle
Local name: Nowy Zamek
This is a neo-Renaissance palace that was designed by Berlin architects. It is worth seeing the perfectly preserved original equipment, including marble carpets, decorative frescoes, gilding, wooden staircase and kitchen elevator.
The building has two floors, a residential attic and basement. Established in 1909-1911. After World War II, it housed a boarding school for orphans of murdered teachers, and then a holiday center. The main entrance is crowned with the coat of arms of the von Waldow family and the date "1909", and the object itself is surrounded by a historic park.
The building is owned by Jan Lubomirski, president of the Princes Lubomirski Foundation, who plans to restore the former splendor of the building by creating a high standard recreation and leisure center here.
In 2014, "Evil Rising" was filmed here, and in 2017, the hit cinema event "The Art of Loving. The story of Michalina Wisłocka. "
