The museum displays exhibits from archaeological excavations, folk arts and art. The most valuable exhibits in the museum collection are the so-called. Treasure of Lebork - large collection of 15th century silver scabbards. The museum also features a unique collection of face ashtrays (urn with human face), from the beginning of the Iron Age.

The head office is located in a burgher house on the market square. We will get to know the city's history from the early Middle Ages up to the 20th century. The exhibition is presented, among others. silver and gold jewelery, vessels, guns and everyday items from the period of Roman influence. A separate exhibition was dedicated to Paul Julius Gottlieb Nipkow, the inventor of an electric telescope, who contributed to the rise of television.

The museum also has two 14th century bastions. In the larger, carefully restored tower no. 24, replicas of arms from the 14th and 15th centuries, from the times of the Polish-Teutonic war, are presented. In the smaller, wearing number 27, an exhibition devoted to Kashub folk art and herbal medicine is located.
