Ethnographic Museum of Lanckorona Land
Local name: Muzeum Etnograficzne Ziemi Lanckorońskiej
The Lanckorońska Ethnographic Museum is housed in a characteristic wooden house of Lanckorona at the Market Square. A collection of everyday items, including old irons, butter churns, furniture and agricultural tools used by the town's inhabitants has been gathered here. There is also a handicraft store on site.
The Lanckorona Museum Chamber was established in 1967. Initially, items found during excavations at the Lanckoron castle were presented here. Over time, collections regarding the everyday life of the town's inhabitants in the 19th century came to the fore. This profile is favored by placing the exhibition in one of the few survivors of the great fire of 1868 in a traditional wooden house.
The exhibition is divided into two parts, historical and ethnographic. In the historical part you can see, in addition to finds from the castle, also souvenirs of the Bar Confederates. The ethnographic part is primarily the equipment of former Lanckoron farms.
