The Zielona Góra nature reserve is located near the village of Kusięta within the Eagles' Nests Landscape Park. The tourist Trail of the Eagles' Nests runs through it, connecting Kraków and Częstochowa. The reserve covers an area of limestone hill, 343 m above sea level
There are numerous karst forms here, including the Cave in Zielona Góra, 150 m long, known for its unique dripstones and a huge rock chamber called the Shelter at the Summit of Zielona Góra. In the reserve there are also limestone rocks with characteristic shapes, reflected in their names, incl. Anvil, Fin and Zielona Góra.
