Regional Museum in Kozienice im. prof. Tomasz Mikocki was transferred to the former House of Culture. At present, the museum's current headquarters are being renovated, located in the 19th-century building of the palace and park complex. Works are scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018. As soon as they are completed, the opening of new exhibitions is planned.
Museum exhibits include primarily ethnographic collections that approximate folk art and material culture based on typical work tools for both rural and small-scale occupations. The museum's collection of beehives reminds us of the former form of beekeeping, which was birding.
Museum collections also include historical memorabilia, among which are archival maps and documents, old photographs and prints from the period of the Four-Year Sejm.
The Museum also has a collection of works by artists, gathered around the Polish Legions by Józef Piłsudski.
