The Museum of Jamno Culture is an ideal place to learn about the history and culture of Pomerania. Here you can admire many traditional buildings from different periods, including a fishing hut, barn and forge. There are also exhibitions devoted to contemporary folk art. An additional attraction is the Jamneński Fair, which is organized four times a year. The products of their work are demonstrated by local craftsmen, artists and musicians.
The museum houses interesting objects. One of them is a fishing hut dating from the nineteenth century. It was brought from the village of Dąbki. In addition, there was a reconstructed barn with a forge, as well as a shoemaker's workshop, which dates back to the 20th century. All buildings and their surroundings are to make visitors aware of the former lives of the inhabitants of the villages near Koszalin. There are also permanent exhibitions that present Jamaican culture.
The name of the ethnographic park comes from the old names of the inhabitants of two villages: Jamna and Łabusza. They were characterized by their specific culture because its development was influenced by Slavic, Dutch and Germanic traditions. It made it so original and that's why it's worth coming here.
