Bell Tower Museum of Goldsmithing

The collection of the Museum of Goldsmith Art in Kazimierz Dolny consists of about 1,900 exhibits, including specialist literature as well as artistic and historical collections devoted to goldsmithing.
At exhibitions, you can see old silver products signed with their authors' sign, of which around 300 comes from Polish goldsmiths. The collection presents, among others, the natural evolution cycle of goldsmithing, including its transformations over 1000 years, until the beginning of the 20th century. At the same time, the museum presents a collection of contemporary goldsmithery. Among 750 objects are unique products far from the commercial production and wholesale.
At the exhibition you can see jewelry and body silver. Most of the exhibits come from the private collections of the initiator of the creation of the museum, Jędrzej Jaworski, a passionate collector who donated his private collection to the museum in 1979. Private collections numbered 550 old silverware.
