Jan Kasprowicz Museum
Local name: Muzeum im. Jana Kasprowicza
Collection museum in Inowrocławiu are exhibits devoted to the history of the city, memorabilia John Kasprowiczu and Stanislaw Przybyszewski, and also a collection of art from the period of Young Polish. A separate exhibition is also an exhibition Solno and showing the history of salt mining in Kujawy. In the museum you can see items from the Stone Age and Roman times, acquired during local excavations. The gem of the collection is a picture Panorama Inowrocławia, showing the appearance of the city a few hundred years back. Curiosity arouse a wooden Chessman from the thirteenth century and swords from the turn of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Among the paintings included works by such masters as Stanislaw Wyspianski, Olga Poznan, Jacek Malczewski and Jan Stanislawski. In the ethnographic section presents the nineteenth and twentieth century art of Kujawy, and the element of post-competition exhibitions are held every two years the "Kujawska folk art." The facility is beautiful restored building of the Palace Tenement. Next to the public exposure it houses the library and the department of scientific and educational.
