Market Square in Inowrocław
Local name: Rynek w Inowrocławiu
Inowrocławski Square is a pleasant place for a walk and a moment of relaxation. The rectangular, heavily elongated square with a modern fountain surrounds houses from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The attraction of the market is the recently built fountain, composed of granite blocks and equipped with lighting and sound system.
Three times a day there are music and light shows. The monument of the patron saint of the city - Holy Queen Jadwiga, was located in the neighborhood. After a few years ago, new benches, small architecture appeared on the market, and in the season there are set up catering gardens, providing shelter from the sun and resting near a glass of cold drink.
The climate of the past highlights the carefully reconstructed cobbles. In the past, in the center of the square was the town hall tower, which was demolished in 1878.
