The exhibition at the 20th Century Makabra Bunker is an artistic installation that uses the image, sound and light to realistically portray the horrors of war, its nonsense, and its tragic consequences. Its purpose is to induce shock and strong emotions, which leaves no visitors indifferent to the topics discussed.
Exhibit Gives a true picture of how soldiers lived - cramped and uncomfortable. The exhibition is an interesting proposition for people interested in history, war and military, and at the same time wanting to know the difficulties that soldiers had to endure during the war.
During the tour you can expect a few surprises - in the rooms you can meet for example snoring soldiers or listen to songs performed by Violetta Villas.
The exhibition was created by own means by the Association "Alternative Spit". It is located in the manned shelter of 13th Artillery Battery Stand in Hel, dating from the turn of the 40s and 50s. The bunker was first opened in 2014.
