The Witch's Witch's Market is a unique attraction of the town. It is not only a relatively young object, but above all an art form based on ancient customs and commemorating the burning of three women suspected of witchcraft.
Tall, slim, equipped with three columns on which a conical roof is based, the construction is not original, but the 1997 replica of the original well that stood at the beginning of the 20th century. The top of the acute peak is adorned with a small witch statue, which is meant to refer to ancient superstitions and the fight against witches. The sculptor of the figurine is the famous Gorzów sculptor Zofia Bilińska.
The witch's grave is located in a place where women were suspected of witchcraft in the sixteenth century. As the witches have said, these women were sisters who refused to marry old margrave. The vengeful one condemned them for witchcraft and led them to death. Apparently, the mother of despair girls jumped into the well and today she can hear her crying.
