Local name: Wieża widokowa "Pająk"
The Viewing Tower in Gorzów Wielkopolski is a 25-meter tower with a viewing terrace at the height of the sixth floor. The metal structure is located by the Old Town Bridge on the Warta River in the very center of the city. Thanks to its attractive location, its peak offers an amazing view of the panorama of the whole of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
From above, you can admire, among others: the Warta River, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Granary - a branch of the Lubuskie Museum, the building of the Gorzów Philharmonic, the Roman Catholic Church. St. Stanisław Kostka and St. Antoni and the town hall.
The tower is also known as Info Glob, and is called the Spider by the inhabitants of Gorzów - because of its long and lean legs on which the opera is an openwork ball resembling a spider's abdomen. The modernist building is a symbol of a developing and modern city of the 21st century.
