Bimba - historic tram

Local name: Bimba - zabytkowy tramwaj

The historic Bimba tram is another way to invite tourists to visit Gorzow Wielkopolski. The green and white wagon does not carry passengers, but he parked permanently in the Wool Market, in the vicinity of the Arsenal. There is a Tourist Information Center inside.

In the interior of an attractive carriage you can not only get information about interesting monuments in Gorzow Wielkopolski, but also buy a map or ticket for one of the sports or cultural events here. At the point of sale are also interesting books related to the city and various memorabilia Gorzów. Among the latter was also Gorzos, a funny mascot of the city - red eagle in green shorts.

Bimba is a name derived from the Poznań dialect, meaning simply a tram. Traveling tourists, however, makes it a lot more interesting to pay attention to the historic car with a very long history. Unfortunately, the wagon is not an original, but an excellent, accurately reproduced replica of the Landsberg wagon of 1899. Reconstruction was based on descriptions and photographs.
