Gdynia Motor Museum

Local name: Gdyńskie Muzeum Motoryzacji

The Gdynia Motor Museum is an extraordinary museum that collects antique cars and motorcycles from the 20th century. Furthermore, not only vehicles take us into the world of the last century - the museum hall is stylized in that period as well. The museum was opened in 2007 and 50 old cars and nearly 150 two-wheeled vehicles have been gathered there.

The exhibition of the Gdynia Motor Museum includes, among others, Fiat, Ford or Mercedes cars as well as Harley-Davidson or Zundapp motorcycles. All vehicles were placed in a space imitating a street downright out of the 1920s. The original cobblestone from Gdynia and the Gdańsk bricks were used to build the streets.

The most valuable exhibits of the Gdynia Motor Museum are cars such as: Raleigh from 1918, American Buick Master Six from 1925 or Fort TT from 1926. Among the motorcycles Indian 341, Sokół 1000 (Falcon 1000), Royal Enfield, and Harley-Davidson WL deserve special attention.
