The Feliks Nowowiejski Seaside Boulevard is is set at the base of Kamienna Góra and runs along the coast for 1.5 km. Its history dates back to the 1920s.
Walk on the Feliks Nowowiejski Boulevard in Gdynia starts with the Adam Smolan's sculpture "Ryby". While walking along the marked route, one can also see another characteristic object - a monument dedicated to the victims of maritime disasters.Tourist values of this place have been noticed already in the 1920s - then at the current boulevard, a sandy path was trampled which in time turned into a more comfortable and safer (because strengthening the cliff) concrete seawall. The current shape of the Feliks Nowowiejski Boulevard was created in the 1950s, during redevelopment works. In 2011, the seaside boulevard was also adapted to the needs of cyclists.Less
