The "Pod Muflonem" hostel is located in the Bystrzyckie Mountains on the north-eastern slope of Ptasia Góra. From the object located at an altitude of 690 m above sea level, there is a view of Duszniki-Zdrój. The hostel has beds and a restaurant. You can get here on foot via several routes or by car from Dusznik-Zrój.
Several routes meet at the shelter: red to Polanica-Zdrój through Błażkowa, Piekielny Labirynt and Piekielna Dolina; blue to Karłów through Duszniki-Zdrój, in the opposite direction via Biesiec and Rozdroże pod Uboczem to the Burned Pass and yellow through Szczytna and Piekielna Góra to Polanica-Zdrój, and in the opposite direction via Duszniki-Zdrój, Batory and Skalne Grzyby to Karłów.
Duszniki-Zdrój became popular at the beginning of the Nineteenth century, patients were treated here with milk - cow, sheep and goat and rye milk (whey from sheep's milk). One of the farms supplying medicinal dairy products was located in the place of today's "Pod Muflonem" hostel. The farm was converted into a hostel and restaurant, and then with beds. At the end of the 19th century a toboggan run leading to Duszniki Zdrój was built, which was demolished in the 1960s.
