The Museum of the Mogileński Land with headquarters in Chabsk was established in 2002, and its official opening took place on May 28, 2003. There are ethnographic and historical collections here. Next to the museum is the seat of the Society of Friends of the Mogileński Museum in Mogilno.
The museum has six rooms, four of which are intended for permanent exhibitions, one for temporary exhibitions and one to function as a showroom. The exhibitions of the permanent exhibition present collections from four different areas: archeology (we will find here exhibits from excavations in the Mogilno region from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages), history (personal memorabilia of the inhabitants of the Mogilno region), ethnography (objects showing folk culture affected by neighboring regions such such as Wielkopolska or Kujawy) and sacred history (an exhibition presenting the history of the Catholic clergy and sacred objects).
