The monumental villa, commonly known as "Fałatówka", is occupied by Julian Fałat Museum, one of the branches of the museum in Bielsko Biała. Since 1910, the house belonged to the artist. The painter moved in here when he resigned from the seat of the director of the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts. The eight rooms present two exhibitions: "Julian Fałat - painter and collector", and "With a palette through life".
The museum is a biographical and art facility. The collections are dominated by works by Fałat who is mostly known as an author of hunting themes, however, his paintings depicting mountains, landscapes, and portraits are also popular. The collections of paintings are complemented by original furniture and equipment of the artist. Despite the museum doesn't recreate the original look of the villa, one of the rooms presents the last Fałat's workshop. There are also his easels and painting tools.Less
