The Renaissance Granary building dates back to around 1604 and currently houses one of the three branches of the Museum in Brodnica. Inside, there is a permanent exhibition that shows the daily life of the first inhabitants of the Brodnica region. During the Mesolithic - Middle Stone Age, these people dealt mainly with fishing, hunting and gathering. Some exhibits can be touched to understand how they were used. The exhibition was awarded the prize of the Minister of Culture and Art.
The exhibition was created with education in mind and is an unforgettable history lesson for children and youth. This is where you can see the reconstructed camp of Mesolithic hunters 10,000 years ago. The historic edifice of the Museum was rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century, has four floors and has original wooden entablature.
