Stavanger Cathedral

This oldest cathedral in Norway was built in the 12th century in Romanesque style, its patron was St. Switun, Bishop of Winchester. As a result of a fire that broke out in the city in the 13th century, the cathedral was partially destroyed and it was rebuilt in the Gothic style.
