Tønsberg Tønne

The historic seaport, the oldest in the area, is located at the entrance to Tønsbergfjorden. The first mention of the marking standing in this place dates back to the 13th century, initially it was a barrel placed on a high stick, at the end of the 19th century a lightning struck it.
