Ancient Theatre of Ohrid

Local name: Антички Театар Охрид

The theater was built in 200 BC, during the Hellenistic period. It is the only theater of this type in the country. It has an open form and is surrounded by two hills that provide protection against wind and good acoustics. Every year, the Ohrid Summer festival takes place here.
