Louwman Museum
Local name: Louwman Museum
The Louwman Museum is the world's oldest private automobile museum. The collection and exhibition includes over 200 passenger cars, motorcycles, fire trucks - from the first combustion-powered carriages to modern hybrid cars. Of course, racing cars and cars associated with famous people are of the greatest interest - such as Cadillac Fleetwood made to order by Elvis Presley.
Other famous vehicles include Aston Martin DB5 (James Bond car), Lincoln V12 (copy used on the set of the "Godfather") or Sunbeam motorcycle (in the past it was the property of General Bernard Montgomery). The collection also includes surprising constructions like a swan car, which was built at the request of an eccentric Englishman.
In addition to internal combustion vehicles, a carefully stylized interior of the repair workshop and a fragment of the internal zeppelin construction were also presented. A separate exhibition is devoted to posters related to the automotive industry. The museum's offer also includes visits to the collection of antique telescopes, telescopes, glasses and binoculars.
