Bedem Fortress

The oldest preserved part of the building was erected by the Romans in the 6th century AD. The current shape was given by the Turks in the 18th century. Originally it had six towers and was armed with several dozen guns. The last battle under the walls of the bastion was fought in 1878. Currently, preserved ruins are the place of organization of cultural events.
