Podmaine Monastery
Local name: Manastir Podmaine
The 15th-century Orthodox monastery is known for its frescoes. The original wall paintings were destroyed during a fire in 1869 and the earthquake of 1979. After a general reconstruction, new frescoes were created. The painting entitled "Sinful Bishops and Emperors" depicts the leader of former Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito.
