Casemates of Bock

The underground of Fort Bock located on the hill below the buildings of Luksembrug. The fort was successively built from the tenth century, and the dungeons began to drill in the rocks on which it stands in the mid-seventeenth century. Thanks to the extensive system of underground corridors, the city was often called "Northern Gibraltar". Currently, 17 km of corridors are open to the public. Some of them contain exhibitions and military equipment from past eras.
