Nowoczena Orthodox Church of St. Panteleimon boasts an interesting history of its uprising - the building was created on the foundations of an unfinished apartment block, the construction of which was abandoned. Masses in the church were held even before the temple was completed, during its construction. The temple itself belongs to the Vilnius and Lithuanian eparchy, and construction work began in the spring of 1996.
