The ruins that can be seen here cover the area of one of the best preserved ancient Roman cities in the world. You can find here Temple of Artemis, Temple of Zeus, hippodrome for 15,000 people and a bath complex. There are also remains of two theaters, fountains and ruins of early Christian churches.
