Carolino Aqueduct

Local name: Acquedotto Carolino

The aqueduct was built to supply water to Reggia di Caserta and San Leucio. The construction of the facility began in March 1753 and was officially opened on May 7, 1762. In 1997, the aqueduct was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
