The Diocesan Museum is located in the lower church of the cathedral of St. John the Baptist and was opened on December 11, 2008. Archaeological excavations have highlighted the remains of three early Christian churches that occupied this area. The gallery is divided into thematic areas, including the sacraments, the Eucharist and the cult of saints.
