Basilica of Superga

The church was built in 1717-1731 for Victor Amadeusz, according to the design by Filippo Juvarra. The temple was erected on top of the Superga hill. The object represents late baroque classicism. The hallmark is a dome, completed in 1726, reminiscent of some elements of the Michelangelo's dome in St. Peter's Basilica.
