Island of the Currents

A tiny island off the coast of Sicily, where the Ionian Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea. Due to their location, its banks are often flooded by high, violent waves.

The island is low, its height does not exceed 4 meters and flat. Its central part is occupied by the ruins of a decaying lighthouse and lighthouse keeper's house. At Coretti, you can take a boat or go through a partially damaged stone and concrete causeway, where the water reaches even to your shoulders.
