Piazza della Sala

One of the oldest Pistoia squares marked out in the Middle Ages. It is connected to the cathedral square with a place where a food market takes place twice a week. You can buy vegetables, fruit, meat, spices, cheese as well as bread and sweet pastries. Around the square there are mainly seventeenth and eighteenth century tenement houses, on which ground floor houses cafes, restaurants and clubs.
