Monumental Complex of the Broletto

A complex of historic city buildings arranged in a square and clustered around a central square. They were built at different times and are architecturally inconsistent. They show how the city architecture changed from the Middle Ages to the 17th century. Within the complex, you can see the seat of a merchant guild or a prison. Currently, a museum of contemporary art operates in some of the rooms.
